Every, single day I come, creeping up, sitting down, and I try to feed on your pool of inspiration.  My parched mouth aches for something to satisfy its thirst, yet instead of searching for cool, clear, water it succumbs and settles for a murky grey silt.  

 I hope that one day I too can sit down and create something truly beautiful out of my hands.  I want to relish in the scars and marks that show that I too have learned how to produce, how to push through and make raw, real substance.  

  Yet I sit here with nothing of my own, and my hands are not worn, and everything I have come to create has only been in response to what I see.  Now what is the difference between true art and mimicry.  

i like fresh starts.

they don’t come easily, and their very easy to mess up.  we rely on what we know, but sometimes we forget what we want to change because sticking to routine is easier.  i want to be free of those insignificant pieces that cling on like bad lint.  it’s too easy to say that you’re going to change yourself, change the way you look, the way you dress, and hope that those are the things that will make the biggest change in your life. it’s not that simple.  i’m using my fresh start as wise as i can, i don’t want to waste it.
